This is the one of the best way to stand out from other crew candidates.
We always ask our CV Full Service clients the following questions:
“Did you create, implement, or help improve any system, process, procedure, or protocol that resulted in improved operations, efficiencies, or improved guest/customer experience?”
“Were you involved in completing any special projects or tasks outside normal responsibilities of the job?”
“Did you help solve a problem for the program, business/organization, team-member, guest or customer in any of your previous positions?”
The answers to these questions can substantially help you stand out from other candidates rather than just listing your duties and responsibilities, which can be exactly the same as other candidates.
When you can, show you are a “solutions” oriented crewmember, employee, or leader that has a history of making key contributions.
List occasions and examples where you were asked to be involved special projects and given additional responsibilities beyond your normal scope of duties and responsibilities.
Including a bullet point or two of your general responsibilities and duties is good to include. But having more substantive job descriptions that show you are someone that not only does the job that is asked of them but also has a history of leaving that job a little better than they found is always better.
